Thanks I'll try that later on! When it stalls, it'll just crank and it sounds as though it's not firing, either there's no spark or no fuel in my mind. After like 5-10 minutes It'll crank over and fire up fine and then it might not do it again all day or for the rest of the week.

Hi guys, I'm looking for a bit of knowledge on the injection system as my vans like to cut out sometimes. I've got new ht leads, plugs, distributor cap, rotor, fairly new coil, all new intake hoses, new fuel lines, filter, rebuilt the air flow meter and the engine has only done like 40000 miles so I...

Sages, they will tend to rib you using webers and a 009 but if you're happy with it then fine. Its just that the 009 does not (nor will it ever) match the power curve of a VW engine without major modifications from the cam upwards. Its a myth that has perpetuated by sellers to shift box loads of 00...

help, just got van running finally and had fitted new coil and 009 dizzy, starts and runs sweet but maybe just coincidence but it keeps blowing fuse and lost indicators and left headlight?? any ideas why. weve taken all injection system out inc wiring but surely removing this wouldnt affect the indi...

Thanks guys ,am also looking for a place to buy seals from and replace sliding door seal and the track at the bottom. IM a yacht builder so should be a piece of cake lol, im from Southampton if it helps. :D J.D. we are about to do our seals all round and some friends have just done theirs, its not ...
