The rubber probably disintegrated where the pipe enters the tank. If you want to be thorough drop the tank and check all the rubber parts.

Depends.....
I have an inverter in my closet in the back so I put the leisure batteries on the bottom in the cabinet. But I stripped my car so had al the possibilities to hide the wires.

I was in the market for a heater and I asked around.
There is only little difference between the two. They are both up to the job. They are both good.
It's a question of personal preference. Eberspacher is a little bit more advanced with the controls.
