Hi all, just wondering if any Kent members have any recommendations of a T25 friendly mobile mechanic, our Holdsworth decided to break down on the motorway the other week and I have been left with a gearbox that is pretty much useless (stuck in 1st). RAC man checked the linkages but could not get it...

I know I'm resurrecting an old thread but saw that the OP was from B'heath. The best vw guy in the area is James wotton from vee dub in welling, very local to the OP. his work includes numerous show winner cars and feature vehicles and he is also a serious drag race guy so really knows his mechanics...

I know about lust4rust from when I had a slammed splitty, we were both part of the steering box scrapers. Going to try the west malling place anyway got some good reviews on volkszone

No there are no boards, hence the photographic information would be very handy so I could get an idea how it all fits together, should be able to knock up some replacements

Hello all, Im just about to purchase a nice Holdworth Villa 2 hightop with intention of using it on roadtrips with the wife and nippers. It has a few bit to be done to it but generally the van is in great shape, I do however have to consider sleeping arrangements for a 3 year old and an 8 month old....
