Recommended mechanic in Lincoln?
Hi all Having broken down for the first time in seven years of owning our Autohomes Kamper, can anyone recommend a T25 or VW mechanic in Lincoln? Clutch failed and we had to be brought home on a flatbed. I reckon the clutch suffered after we tried to leave the muddy fields of Dubs int’ Dales last mo...

Re: Newton carpet set - anyone managed to fit one?
Thanks very much CovKid and marlinowner - that makes a lot more sense now. Just taken the duct off and the trim panel above.Centre carpet fits now but still not convinced on fit of other parts - looks like there'll be trimming to do. Also now need either another piece of carpet on top of the duct or...

Re: Newton carpet set - anyone managed to fit one?
You could be right. I ordered the petrol version (for a lower centre tunnel) but looking at other vans my centre tunnel is higher, more like a diesel version. That might be the issue but it shouldn't change the fit around the seat bases which is still poor. https://c4.staticflickr.com/8/7744/1767765...

Newton carpet set - anyone managed to fit one?
I know this has been asked a few years ago but I don't think there were any replies. I've got a Newton carpet set for my Autohomes Kamper - petrol water-cooled. It looks sort of correct but when it comes to fitting, nothing seems to line up correctly, the rubber strips don't fit in the slots on the ...

Here's some photos of various panels showing rust and variable thickness paint. Hope they're helpful! http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7358/12074681376_77cb340757.jpg DSC_0171 by Jones96er http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3700/12074442094_dda125e158.jpg DSC_0168 by Jones96er http://farm4.staticflickr.com/...

Recommendations for respray/bodywork nr Brighton
Hi all Anyone got any good experiences of respray work and bodywork in the Sussex area, near Brighton? I went to VW Heritage but didn't get a lot of luck so if anyone has a direct experience or knows of a good body shop which will do an Autohomes Kamper I'd be very grateful. Paint is very thin in pl...

Re: Autohomes Kamper roof folding question
All sorted now - thanks to the kind replies.
Managed to layer the two mattresses between the side panels, on crossways, one lengthways, but have to do that before the roof is lowered.
Cheers all!

Re: Autohomes Kamper roof folding question
Thanks for the advice Simon!
We've got two full width mattresses so just tried your suggestion but not sure it's going to work for me.
Is it possible you could post a photo if you get a mo' over the weekend?
Cheers

Autohomes Kamper roof folding question
Hi all First post here but been lurking. We've got an Autohomes Kamper- finally got the roof folding properly, replaced the flashings and rubbers seals. But... can anyone show me how they get the roof to collapse and stay flat down with two mattresses inside? I can't for the life of me see how it's ...
