Looks like it might be that the lights in the living area (which don't work) have been left in the turned on position, but without light so we didn't know. Logic says that they won't be drawing a current, but it seems that there is a faulty starter in them, which is trying constantly to start the fl...

We've done what the Wiki says and tested all the fuses holding a little light onto the battery terminals. The light stayed on for all the fuses. So no apparent problem there. The light being on indicates a current draw. THIS is the problem. The light should go out. T E D I T:  misunderstood y...

I haven't posted an update on this as we still haven't got to the botton of it. But we've now had the whole summer in the van (well, on and off). Our drive battery is still draining. We disconnect it when we are going to be parked for more than say, 12 hours. We bought a new battery - same problem, ...

We have always struggled with the drive battery draining but managed by disconnecting it when we weren't driving. We are obviously using it more and more as summer approaches so this is a pain in the ne...

Hi, I'm new here, browsed a few times, great site. We bought a California 1990 a couple of months ago and it is fantastic, I love love love it. We have been to Shropshire in it, and Loch Lomond - 1000 miles in 4 days. Perfect drive. Anyway, we had a bit of working out to do along these lines with ou...
