Yes disconnected the relay for 2 minutes and hay presto it now works again :idea

Indicators inop??

Driving home yesterday my indicators decided to stop working?
Just the indicator operation bulb stays on permanently on the dash?
Like this in both directions?
Ahh I thought this must be a relay issue but the hazards are working fine??

Any ideas :?

Have you still got the oil cooler fitted as mine is not fitted??? And pipes just caped off??

Also where does the carb pipes feed from and go to??

Hi cookie, I have a late engine in an early van.....but its away having some work done at the moment. But have never had any problem with the temp sensor...It gets to just over half way, then the stat opens and it drops slightly to rest on the LED. Yes mine has a 2 pin round black sensor on the back of the stat housing, looks like the wiring has been modified also?

Just wondering if anyone else on here has done a later engine swap???

Yes as I have it fitted now I am getting the readings from the pins as the picture above. So I take it this if fine and working correctly :D

It sounds like you have an early dash where the regulator centre pin is not connected. From your description it is working correctly the right hand pin is the output and should be between 9.5V and 10.5V. The codes on the regulator are. Ka78-10a I am looking from the rear of the clocks so I am looking directly at the ribbon and the regulator My centre pin has no where to fix to ? I have looked on wiki but a little confused on the checking of my instrument cluster? When I look at my cluster from the rear I can see the regulator with 3 prongs and fixed with a screw at the bottom.
