DoKa Hard top struts?
Hi, http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/j349/Hevsta/DSC00508.jpg I've got a hard top of the back of the DoKa, and currently am having nightmares with the struts for the doors. The ones at the sides are from fiats, we had to replace the ones that were put on by our garage as they made the sides fly u...

Re: How Much Gearstick Free Play Is Normal?
it's worth checking that your ball joint is in one piece at the linkage box near the engine, (towards the right of centre on my van as someone in a previous post, "onion"). Mine has disintigrated and I am waiting for a new linkage box and rods- I have probs getting in certain gears (I'm a ...

Re: backfire, not electrical
Just to let everyone know, the fault turned out to be a spring in the distributor... (forgive me if it's the cap, I was so happy all i heard was distributor!) We've gone for a couple of years replacing rotor arm, distributor cap and coil etc, with the fault recurring on a regular basis... aparently ...

Re: backfire, not electrical
Hi, I doubt very much it's Aircooled too. My sister does have one, and I was in a bit of a frantic state when I posted- if the van is off the road, I'm not working (i'm also a single parent and it's the holidays)! Thanks for your suggestions- the regular mechanics have scratched their heads, passed ...

backfire, not electrical
Hi folks, I've got issues with our 1990 crew cab, (engine air-cooled petrol, size unsure) It's backfiring and losing power, but the prob only seems to be there when I'm up to speed- say 30-40 mph+ We've been told it's not electrical, but they're not sure what it could be... has anyone got any ideas ...
Re: How High?
I found out the hard way the height of our van (non high top) with the roof rack on two weeks ago... I've had a lot of metal bending, holefilling and embarassment. It's 2m 15.

Crewie Door Seal
Hi, I'm new and I drive a 1990 T25 Crew Cab which has been fitted out as a multimedia music van with PA, record decks, wii, ps2, VJing etc for work. A number of the seals are going or gone altogether (like the crew door rubber seal which was pulled off accidentally and lost). Is there anywhere doing...
