Vacuum in fuel tank.

I finally managed to get out for a few days in my van after nearly owning it for a year. Norwich to Derbyshire, couple of days potholing, then upto Snowdonia, walked the Snowdon Horseshoe, and then down the welsh coast to Aberwysworth (excuse my spelling!). Then the nice 250mile long drive home agai...

Re: For people who like putting furniture in their vans

I spotted this last night while searching for a multivan r'n'r bed. Looks nice, but a shame it would cost near enough £400 in fuel + ferry to collect it.
I don't really fancy a holiday in Northern Germany either!

In the past year, i've spent about £1,500 just on mechanical issues, including £861 to...

I've just pulled up the floor mating, and found that it's only attached to the floor panel by 1 self tapping screw which will not tighten up, yet ...

Re: Alloy wheels & Wheel nuts.

Thats the reply i was expecting. I guess the steel rims and road tyres will have to stay on for now, replacing stubs doesn't sound like a simple task, especially on the rear :?

Alloy wheels & Wheel nuts.

Hi, Just bought my first VW yesterday (14" '89 1.6TD Syncro), and had the not so pleasurabe experiance of a wheel coming off on the M25!!! It was fitted with Audi alloy wheels and big mud tyre (not sure what size). The previous owner had been using these wheels with no issues for a good while, ...
