With the engine off my leisure battery is showing 11.4 and starter battery 10.6. The figures are similar with the engine st...

Hi Guys, I've been experiencing a serious clutch judder problem when pulling away so i've pulled the gearbox out today and planning to replace the clutch, flywheel o ring seal and oil seal. Here's a pic of my flywheel, is the crack a problem? https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-UPoJbm3t2z8/U4I7vyFtry...

crankcase/flywheel oil seal/clutch replacement
Hi Guys, Need to replace my clutch, flywheel oil seal and crankcase oil seal. Can i get away with just removing the gearbox? I assume it'll be an easier job to remove the engine but lack of drive way and work area make that difficult. Atleast with just gearbox out i can leave it in the back of the v...

Re: Clutch pedal/cable link snapped!
Thanks. Welded it along the bottom and cut the slit back in.
Gear change is also much better now as had to readjust the clutch cable to refit. Been meaning to do it for a while so all's well that ends well. My van has a funny way of forcing my hand to get those little jobs done

Re: Hydrocarbons too high for mot!
It passed :ok Hydrocarbons down to 837 I'm gonna go do a dance. For future reference I reset the volume mixture screws to 2.5 turns, removed the air filter from the box, disconnected the oil breather and tightened the manifold nuts as they were a little loose. Also took it for a good drive. Reset th...
