Oil pump was replaced while in the garage ! So will drop oil and put new oil n filter on ! Then maybe look at other engine ! Would you replace any gaskets etc on other engine or what would you suggest while its out ? Thanks in advance Martyn

Had the engine running for around 10mins checked pressures at 3500rpm reading was 24psi 1.6 bar then when returned to tick over dropped to 8 psi 0.5 bar I've checked the pressure relief valve cleaned and put back in with crush washer. This has raised the pressures slightly at 3500 rpm. Not taken it ...

Just had oil pressure test gauge used it first time good pressures but not sealed right so eventually got a reading 0.5 bar and 8 psi while running at 3000rpm not looking good !

Just ordered pressure tester will put results on hopefully by weekend thanks.

Yes Dg engine .. Engine had trouble starting with wrong carb but was fine once running ..

That's all the info I have ! I wasn't too happy with the mechanic to be honest. Left the van in a mess seems as though he wasn't bothered ,,

If anyone lives near stoke-on-Trent and could pop over to have a gander will give them some beer money

Forgot to mentioned when I drove it engine fine on start up went for a little run out buzzer sounded lost a lot of power but still drive-able ! Haven't run it since been in garage but have started up a couple of times.

Buzzer sounds over 2000 Revs ! The garage tested engine pressures are on post. Thanks

Hi I've got problems with my 1987 t25 1.9dg engine oil pressure buzzer ! Engine kicks in no problem but after about 3-4 mins buzzer sounds. Took to local vw garage he said could be oil pump ? Replaced oil pump still going off. Getting slight knocking every now and again, engine pressure 1 & 2 10...
