Re: Anyone make curtains ?

My wife made up a brilliant set of curtains for our van in green and white vertical stripes with a white blackout backing to it, looks amazing and has already had two orders in from the guy who made our interior. She is on maternity leave and looking for something to do in the evening to bring some ...

I have read up on after market carbs and it seems that webbers or delortos (apologies for spelli...

Re: Complete interior upgrade

Thanks for that, the grass I bought as an offcut on ebay, it's 2m x 3m and 30mm deep, although I may go deeper later, I used spray glut to attach it to the carpets in the front and lino in the back for some insulation, I got some free samples from a carpet fitting place. Here's a pic of the hob and ...

Here are the completed photos, fake grass on the floor, leisure battery and split charger, fridge runs on 12 and 240V and can run on gas if I want it to, new lights, full carpeting, rock and roll bed, bespoke furniture which is nice because there are no weird gaps, new sink and our old grill/hob com...

Knackered ribbon connection

Hi all,

I have had my dash out today to work out why my speedo and clock don't light up, the ribbon connection seems to be in very poor condition, so does anyone know where to get a new one?

Cheers

Re: Alternative to 2.0 Aircooled

I think im going to get the carbs changed over and have it properly set up on a rolling road and see what that does. Plus that should cost less than a grand which is a lot better than a new engine

Re: Alternative to 2.0 Aircooled

Cheers for all the info guys, So here's the next stupid question, don't worry I'm not going to do the job myself!! Do I just buy an entire car, for example a Mk3 Golf 2.0 petrol and then remove all the bits and sell the rest for scrap? Also roughly how much would it cost me not including the doner c...

Re: Lakes or Peaks??

Peaks, without a shadow of a doubt, the lakes are amazing, but the walks are much longer and less pub like!! Campsites near Froggatt or Stanage are both good places to start and the walks along the top of each rock outcrop are amazing and fairly easy going, just remember to take Avon Silky Smooth sk...
