Re: quality parts manufacturers

To support a point made early on but I didn't spot early enough here's a GSF slave cylinder after 18 months/about 2500 miles. I'm replacing with a Forst from Heritage, hope I don't have to update in the same time frame. https://i.imgur.com/BU4yL29.jpeg The rubber seems thicker and it has wire clamps...

Re: Wipers stopped working

I think it's the motor. Got the multimeter out and checked wiring and relay, no problems, then I touched the motor and it was hot just off the ignition being on.

On a plus side there's a few bits I can do with the dash out. Thanks all

Wipers stopped working

So, wipers are going no problem then suddenly they stop in the middle of the windscreen. It was only spitting so I made it home. No problem with the fuse. When I turn the key they make a slight move but nothing more. Any ideas? Cheers.

Coolant level sensor connector

Image

Sure this has been asked before but any idea of where I can get the above connector for the coolant level wiring? Currently using two sleeved spade connectors after replacing the old brittle wiring but there's probably a reason why this should only be temporary.

Haven't got an air-cooled but very much appreciate your videos; you really are very good at explaining things in such anyway that it makes sense.

Re: More Fuel Pipe Issues.

It's because for the longest time quality parts were made by lots of small companies for a price that reflected the quality, then big companies wanted a bit of that money so made the same parts but for cheaper so stockists took those to get a better margin. Then the original quality company stopped ...

When I was trying to sort my Pict 5 I found 4's on UK eBay but no 5's. Maybe seller would be willing to post overseas? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/235467811703

Sorry - "With the wife's help, we towed her onto level ground and had a fiddle." 😂 Surely you should have fixed the van first?

Freudian slip.

Be careful, changing oil is often the first step on the road to a life of spannering.
