I have JK hinges - will these work without a back box?

To install a r'n'r bed in a T25 do I need to make a bed base over the engine to raise it up?

We're not using a powerflush to bleed, that may be an idea though.

The MC is new not refurbed but was the cheapest from GSF, the reason we changed the MC was because of this problem, so we'd be unlucky if it was the MC.
