Re: Live feed to ignition barrel.....

Thanks Martin, I've spoken to Pfeiffers in Brighton where I live this morning and Dave the van man tells me this is an issue that they have come across before and that it's an easy fix, plus they have spare connector blocks if needs be so all good. I didn't want to do my usual thing of hamfistedly b...

Live feed to ignition barrel.....

Firstly, thanks to the wiki I changed my heater blower motor on saturday and it works great! Problem being that whilst doing that job I disturbed the cabling on the steering column and the RED live feed that goes into the BLACK connector block attached to the bottom of the ignition barrel. I drove h...

I'm gonna attack it again, but won't have time for a couple of weeks, give me chance to get some more bolts in anticipation, already got my hose clamps at the ready......

Cheers Jim, I'll try attacking a bit harder. I'm gonna replace the shear bolts.......the thread is M8? Would one the same as farther down the column work alright if I get ones the same as them?

Thanks!

Steering column shear bolts.........

Evening ladies and gentlemen! I'm going to be taking a second shot at replacing my blown heater in my T25, as my 1st attempt was scuppered by the dreaded shear bolts. Couldn't get a purchase on 'em and even dremelling a slot in the top I couldn't shift 'em So it looks like I'll drill 'em out. My que...

Interior Refitters......?

Morning All! I've got some electrical gremlins in the interior lights in my T25 which also affects the sink pump. I've had a look myself, but it got a bit confusing tbh. Long and short of this tales is that I am looking for someone to re-wire the internals, it's not a massive job, but I don't want t...

Re: 'Vanagon syndrome???? n do I Have it?

Cheapest thing to try would be some new plugs I reckon, might be that they are getting a little fouled. Also clean carbs and fuel lines if possible. Could be a fuel starvation issue and if it isn't those things then at least you've done 'em........

Re: Waxoyl (or similar) in Bristol

I got mine done by the only 'official' place in the UK and it's just north of London, about the same distance for you as it was me mate, but well worth the £500 for the piece of mind.........

Electrical Gizmo

IMG_0035.jpg Hi All, Could anyone point me in the direction to get one of these? I'm not sure what it's called, 4 wires from my internal lights and water pump go into it and they have been intermittend of late, have identified this as the culprit, but don't know what it's called or where to get one...
