thanks for the reply folks the pin is still there but the thread has worn down ,the new stub axle had a good thread when fitted but somehow it has worn away again so now the nut cant get enough bite on the thread and wobbles loose. i did use a pole the first time but the garage did it this time mayb...

hi all i have a little problem that i need help with on my 1990 panel van ,my rear castle nut keeps coming loose! ,ive replaced the stub axle and nut only 500 miles ago for the mot but its started again and now have a wobble on the wheel.the barrings good but i do have a little wear on the front tyr...

plugg brickworks are good but i got mine from gsf, German Swedish, French auto parts and tell them your a member of 80 90 and you get 10 %

plugg mine did the same thing and i worked it out after lots of head scratching and about 30 pounds of fuel it was the fuel filter under the van ,,it was full of crud and wasn't letting the petrol trough quick enough so the van was petrol sterved so put a new one on at a cost of 50 pence and no prob...

thanks for the info guys ,i will check the the fluid again but it was ok about a month ago and hope theres no leak. the pic is great as i now no what to look for

can some one help as ive looked over the site but cant see any info ? i have a problem with my brake lights ,they wont work unless i put two feet on the pedel !!!, when i use it normally driveing the lights dont come on but if i push to the floor with both feet they come on,,my thinking is there mus...

its early days ,well a few hours ago but the water jacket leak stopped.if it works well worth 6.99 plus 20 % bloody vat

it worked ..... well spent the day fixing leaks then finding more but fingers crossed k seal worked plus with a few new jubilee clip as there were all rusted and dripping fluid under the body ,thanks to you all for the advice

thanks dan i had come to the conclusion that to spend 15 or so pounds on a k seal was going to be easier than taking the head off as im a little worried what ill find or mess up!!! im ok at taking the rad off but tappits and push rods are alot more of an issue for me ,,k seal it is then ,hopefully i...

hi ive got a small leak in my rad and another one on the water jacket gasket and rather than take the head off or drop the rad i was going to try and use some kind of rad/gasket seal first but in the wiki and other forums they have suggested a few different ones,,,,k seal?? waynes?? do they work??? ...

thanks for all the posts and the great pics but im still unsure as to take mine back to bare metal mite bring up more work than im capable off.
i have decided that im going to use rustoliom as that seems to be more flexible than hamarite
