Re: Choosing my colour scheme, its time to get out the roller!
Shem, pop round and have a look at the roller paint on the van. I guarantee you will not be disappointed! You're 3 miles away! If you manage to sort out a place to paint her indoors let me know if I can fit ours in too. we are nearly finished doing our 2 tone orange and white job but the weather is ...

We have started her up a couple of times a month and moved her forwards and backwards to stop the tires getting , well, what ever tires do when they are left in the same spot f...

Re: welders advice (now prep for paint!)
Coming along mate, glad you stuck to your guns and got that repair panel as you wanted/should be. I have some rust that needs tackling, mainly the front panel, its holed in a few places, but bumper iron solid with surface only rust. Will try and find a suitable donor body cut, but if not, will get ...

Re: welder's advice
Ok got the van back and now pleased with the work that he has done. It does look really good and smooth! Unfortunetly the poor bugger spent a good few hours doing the work for free to rectify that bad work that he had done in the first place. Maybe a very hard lesson to learn, but one that will put ...

Re: welder's advice
update: Took the van in for the weld, then my partner picked it up days later. When it was home I had a look at it and the cover plate is out of alignment to what it should be so it is going back after my demanding that this be done right. The body shop also managed to produce a slight crack in the ...

Re: Doorhandles / lock sets
What can I say? This company is good. All three locks/handles came in the post pretty quick and all fitted the 1 key - thanks to rob at the lock shop part of the site. They look good, my only quibble is that I had to use the original bits of plastic between the lock and the bodywork. (I didn't buy t...
