Most vehicles I would say don't fit them, cos their heavey and this does have an adverse effect on handling etc. Also they wear quicker.
But if like me you don't do too many miles a year, and don't thrash your van then why not, its not like you'll ever exceed the speed rating of the tyre on a T25!

A lot of the kit car boys are using the electric power steering colom from a corsa.
Might be possible to adapt it for a van, worth a look.

I've just fitted a 85A/h leasure battery under the passenger seat. BUT.... I had to raise the passenger seat by 50mm to get enough clearence. I used 50mm box section steel to do it, and it seems OK. (enough head clearence) Another way I considered was to cut out the bottom and extend the box down an...

Starter moter soloniod
Hi,
Does anyone know where I can buy a starter solonoid?
Justkampers don't do do them, and VW want £77 for one which is more expensive than a recon starter motor!
Cheers
Dave

Fridge flue
My gas fridge has a flexible foil type flue on it.
Does anyone know where I can buy a new one.
I tried 2 caravan centers near me, but they didn't have any.
I think the diameter of the flue is 32mm.
Cheers

Vacuum advance unit
Hi all, Could someone advise me where I can get a new vacuum advance unit for a 1900 engine. I looked on the justcampers website, and can only find vacuum advance units for the T2 camper. Are these the same??? Or if anyone has a good second hand one the want to sell. Please let me know. :) Cheers Dave

Cheers for the replys guys. Well I bought the van, and had a look at the engine... Did a compression test, and it was good. Found out it was only a split vaccum pipe for the brake servo, causing it lean out and not run on two cylinders. 40p bit of hose and she's running sweet. :) A little bit of wel...

1900 engine questions
Hello All! I'm about to purchase a 1900 T25 camper on the weekend that has a engine problem. I am told that there is a suspected crack in the cylinder head, but obviously I can't confirm untill I've striped it myself. I've read a few comments on the internet regarding the 1900 engine's reliability, ...
