Re: Anyone got a Khyam driveaway sleeper?

We've got one too, its great and so quick to sort out epecially if its windy. We have had a couple of the elbows break but they are very easy to replace. (Always good to keep one spare) :ok

Re: Cooking equipment

This is one of the best things we've bought for cooking when we have electric hook up and certainly saves on using the gas: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Andrew-James-Multi-Cooker-WARRANTY/dp/B004MZ7IPE/ref=pd_sxp_grid_pt_0_1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Basically it's a multi ...

Re: Starting problems

Thank you for asking, we think we might have solved it but the next few weeks will tell. The leisure battery was still charging from the main battery even when the engine was switched off. We've had a new relay and the electrics now come off the leisure battery (before they came off the main battery...

Re: Starting problems

Thank you both, yes your suggestions had been checked. It looks as if the leisure battery was still trying to charge from the main battery when the engine was switched off and both batteries were trying to remain level. We've had a new relay fitted and just having the wiring checked to make sure tha...

Starting problems

We seem to always have this problem over winter when we leave Dudley for a few weeks. However, since having a new radio fitted this year we have had a catalogue of failed starts. Numerous RAC call outs. We've had a new battery fitted, new alternator and now a new starter motor. We've had Dudley chec...

As the weather has most definately turned, and I dont yet have Propex/Eber, methinks hook up would be good. And maybe hard standing! :D

Re: Sitesnear Oxford?

Hi, I guess it depends on what cost you are prepared to pay over night and whether or not you require hook up but here are a few to keep you going :ok http://www.lincolnfarmpark.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (electric) http://www.cotswoldscamping.co.uk/" onclic...

Re: Brittany Ferries Discounts

Thank you for the replies.

That's a good point in reference to the ferry and booking, we were going to book in November but may hold off now :ok

Fortunately we have plenty of time to brush up on our French......... Particularly in relation to taking Jess to the vétérinaire :run

Re: Recommendations for large awning please

The Khyam Sleeper although expensive has been a great buy for us, it's really easy to put up and Hubby can now do this on his own which gives me a chance to sort the camper out and therefore cuts down the time for getting set up. It gives us plenty of room and extra sleeping space. One thing to ment...
