I recommend renault seats as they are the most comfy seats ever.I fitted renault 19 RSI bucket seats(same as 16v but nicer)in my van.a little bit of cutting,welding and tapping and they're good to go.didnt take too long either.

Thanks for all the replies.kinda guessed it would be difficult to convert using those motors but not impossible. I forgot to mention I also have a 2.2 motor from a 97 subaru legacy.i know its a common conversion but I was ruling it out due to the cost of the auxiliary parts that are needed.have the ...

DODGY DIFF?
Hi,Im just wondering about the funny noise coming from my van,s 4spd gearbox?Its fine on the road but if im driving on grass or loose ground and one wheel starts spinning faster than the other,theres a knocking noise.Would it be a worn diff or bearings maybe?

I rang that tsr crowd twice to suss out some parts for a conversion and the girl on the other end of the fone said someone would ring me back with prices,etc.They never did,

Theres one of those heater things under my van as well and i havent a clue how to work it.anyone know?there doesnt seem to be any controls on the dash for it .the van was converted to RHD so maybe the controls were ommitted when the new dash was put in.

Thanks guys,my dizzy is twin vac and i think its set at 5 BTDC at the minute so it must be way off.

Hi.I rebuilt my 1600 CT engine recently and the timing is a bit off.just wondering what degrees BTDC or ATDC it should be set at ?a friend of mine timed it the way he does his 2ltr bay but i think the timing is different,anyone know?cheers
