It's a bit tricky taking photos of them without the van being lifted quite a bit unfortunately! Next time I am under it I will have a try. Unless anyone else has pics please?

Watercooled tinware?
1.9 DG Watercooled auto sleeper "Trooper" 1989.
I have two pieces of tinware under the engine, one of which has rusted away quite badly.
Do they need to be there, being watercooled? If so, what are they for?

The smaller rubber rings I believe are for the mixture needles. If you undo them and take them out you should see them. Turn them in first and count how many turns before fully seated before taking out though and do the reverse when refitting. The larger ring is a seal between the water manifold an...
