Re: Definitive Guide - Rear Seat Belts - Wardrobe side.
I had a frame welded together which fitted inside the wardrobe and was bolted to the floor ond sides of the van. Just a question of drilling a hole in the wardrobe for the spool. Job done. Obviously someone else did it for me! As for lap belts, don't know for sure if they are safe, but I don't trust...

Re: St Ives recomendations
I've always wanted to stay in St Ives in the van as it is a fantastic place. We've been treated by the mother in law to staying in an appartment on Porthmear beach, which is simply amazing. It's nice to hear so many other people have had such a good time there. Just watch out for the seaguls though,...

Re: Broken water jacket gasket
My van is an F reg so I suppose it will be 89 ? Although the engine has been subject to repairs of various sizes and scales it is still the original stock engine. It's had work done on the top end about three years ago. Luckily there is proper v dub specialist at the end of my road who knows the van...

Broken water jacket gasket
At the end of last week I was told that the water pouring out of my engine was due to having a cracked water jacket gasket. This does not sound good to me. What is a water jacket gasket, and how much trouble am I actually in this time ? I know that it was caused by overheating, but what is likely to...

Re: propex heater
My conversion is an Autohomes Kameo. There is no other valves or levers to be found other then the ones already mentioned. The cooker seems to work fine since I replaced the regulater. When I turn it on there is a whirring / sucking sound then it cuts out and the green light on the control panel goe...

Re: propex heater
Not had a problem with the lesuire batter since I had a split relay stuck in there and looms of unwanted wires ripped out. Might be the gas supply. Since I last tried to use it I have replaced the regulater as that stopped working too. The gas valves are all in series, but there is only the main val...

propex heater
I have some kind of propex heater in my van which has been there since I bought it. However, I have never been able to get it to work. It has an outlet pipe and a control panel on one of the side lockers. When I try to turn it on there is a whiring noise for a few seconds then nothing. Any ideas any...
