HarryMann: The Shadek (GSF) oil pump for JX style (50 degree cant) Transporter diesels as recommended by Simon Baxter
Pump trial fitted with one-piece Windage Tray/Gasket
Showing proximity of pump's pickup to floor of JX style sump (filter sieve is another 1/2" up inside pickup cone) About 1", slightly less with a simple gasket, no tray. (Engine is 1.9 TD)
Unfortunately, a crank-web contacts the pump's pickup, so the original VW JX one needs to be substituted!
