AT2's were liked by a lot of people but are now obsolete.
Has anyone tried the new AT's? Can't really find any reviews on how there perform on and off road.
They are a very good price though. X5 including fitting for less than £450.

I thought that was the other way round that the AT2's were the new ones. I'm about to buy a set of AT2's (supply still seems ok) but £450 fitted for a set of AT's is a much better price which is very interesting.

i have the new grabbers on my doka and i was out trying them in anger last weekend at a purpose built off road track and i was amazed at how good they were, everything was attempted and they did a fantastic job, we were 7-8 syncros all with different tyres bfg at, muds, at2s etc etc and i wouldn`t say i had any proplem keeping up, on the road there is no rumbling in fact i can`t here them at all
so far 10 out of 10

I have GG 15" AT2's on the doka and wanted another set for camper and panel van. I was told by the tyre company that BFG complained about the treat pattern of the AT2 being the same as their AT so GG had to stop making them. The camper & panel van both have GG AT's and I find them fine. I have been off road in the panel van in the really wet and the dry and could do the same as everyone else. There are some vids up somewhere in earlier threads
Cheers Rich

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I'll be getting some.
The Kingpin remoulds I currently have have been pretty good. They too have a similar tread pattern to the BFG's. Although now the rubber outer is coming away on the side walls.

Cheap to replace!!
These are for my Caravelle which I'm not sure if I'm keeping or not. If they we're for the the westy I wouldn't mind spending the extra for BFG'S.

Just a little crack at Rich because he did a really good blow out last weekend on those tyres. It really wasnt because of the brand, he just happened to go that extra cm over before it went so pot luck really. We did see a quad bike roll 200m down a valley as it couldnt wait 5 minutes for us to change a tyre so that was interesting
Video to follow of course
