Gas vent

What is an adequate size for a drop hole to vent any gas that might leak from bottle? I realise it wants to be big enough to allow the gas to escape faster than it can leak, but how big is that?
Cheers,
Sam.

Hi Sam
the last thing i saw on this said 50mm below each apliance(this is if they
are in different locations.Or 2x25mm would work.

Thanks Russel.
Will probably drill 2 x 25mm, less mud should find its way in that way!
Cheers,
Sam.

SyncroSam,
Electrolux state that a vent of not less than 13 square cm /2 square inches/40mm diameter, should be provided below the (gas) fridge. Sounds a good rule of thumb to use.
Here and scroll down to page 5/6?

Whot i do is make up a pipe with a 90 degree bend in it. Bond it into
the hole with the open end facing backwards. This helps with the mud
and is easy to block of if waiding.
