Just aquired my '88 F crew cab 1.6d

One of the injector leak off pipes is constanly wet and there is a pool diesel on the block.

Now these pipes are braded on the outside and In my opinion of a poor quality should they be of a heavy rubber construction?

Any idea of the internal diameter?

Should they have pipe clips on them or are they just a push fit?

No, they don't normally have clips on them, I was surprised at this too...

Hopefully someone diesel savvy will explain, but presume they are low pressure bypass flow pipes.

From memory the internal is 3mm, some are braided some are not, none have clips. The cheap stuff from partco, europarts etc is poor quality and will soon go again, best getting some from a main dealer, its the same size pipe for every make of car. They are very low pressure.
