Front Bench seat advice

Hi,
Currently have 2 single seats up front. Due to new addition on the way, will now need to replace one of the seats with a bench seat so 3 can ride.
As i understand, a double will replace a single using the existing seat runners, you then weld a bar accross the van as support.
What about seat belts though? the bench seats i have seen advertised do not have a lap belt or seatbelt fixing that the existing seat belt can click in to. How is this problem resolved? Would be great/appreciated if anyone has any pictures/links to pictures they could share.

Appologies in advance if it's a dopey question.

Thanks,

Danny

lap belt shares the bolt in the seat base box (aka the battery box) at one end and iirc there's another captive already in the body, you'll just have to drill through the skin to access it, but you'll need a look at one that's got them fitted to see where it is, the bolt for the shared one may be longer than the original I'm not sure
hopefully someone with a factory fitted double seat will be along shortly, mine did have it but it had been removed before I bought the van

My Devon Microbus has a bench seat. Will take some photos this afternoon.
I'm planning on taking it out at some point, because you can't use the walk through between the seats with it in place.

Hi
I got a bench seat fitted a month ago. Uses the securing point inside the battery box for securing seatbelt stalks and lap belt is secured on the same post as drivers stalk. As for a bar across the van, I had thick steel brackets made up for the hinged part of the bench seat so a bar is not required(thanks for advice metal mickey). Works fine. Only thing I've had to do is buy the longer securon belt stalk for lap belt otherwise its a bit snug.
Hope this helps.
Ned
:ok

Hope these show what you are after! The lap belt shares a mounting point with the normal passenger seatbelt and then also the drivers belt.

Don't know if you sorted the double front seat yet, but I'm sure I spotted one on fleabay yesterday...you could have mine but I'm not in a position to take it out yet.
