Hi everyone

We are planning to go to Wells by the sea at Easter in our Type 25 Camper. Can anyone suggest a good site with clean facilities. We've been looking at reviews of Pinewood campsite. A few of the reviews have commented on the cleanliness of shower and toilets facilities as being poor.

We would appreciate any comments from campers who have visited this site or any others you have positive feed back from.

Thank you for your help

Hello,

Years ago we stayed at a camp site in Stiffkey right on the marshes, about 2 mins walk to village pub. I cant remember the name but looking at internet I think it was High Sand Creek Camp site. I remember it as it was out first van and we got there in darkness and thought it was all grass inc. past the border line of trees .......when i woke up in the morning and looked out it was the sea the other side of the trees! The salt marshes are the other side and the tide was in! You can walk along the marshes to Wells but we are lazy and never did. We also had the most expensive beer in the world in the village pub  we thought it was an error in the change but it was the real price! This was about 10 years ago tho. It was quite basic but we liked it that way :D

Daz, we've spent a week on the Wells site and mioght well go back at Easter. I wouldn't have a hesitation going. It's a large site and so I guess at times they have difficulty keeping up with the volume of users but should be OK early season.

I'm also looking at sites at Cromer.

Fingers crossed the weather is nice for the Easter weekend. Might see you pootling around (we're in a dark blue Devon pop top).
