I thought it was about time for a bit of a Holman Engineeering blog-type thread, just to give you good people an idea of the variety of work that gets done around here sometimes. First up:

Well it had to happen eventually  Formula Vee racing heads for Kafer...

Pattern on the left exploded it's fan at full chat, something like the wrong side of 6000 crank rpm.

I can't show you the combustion chambers that we have machined for the engine builder; they're a bit special and very high compression

Could be, it's for some racing Beetle or other. Not my thing at all. I once went to North Wales on a climbing trip in a mates 1303 one chilly Easter, 4-up, we broke down (starter), heater was crap, never again!

I'm no slave to VW brand loyalty!

We run a small batch of these every now and then. It's a transmission adapter to allow the fitment of a Jaguar XJ-S 5-speed (Getrag 221) onto a much earlier Jag XK bellhousing for modified racers (mostly)

I machine-engrave them with our logo so they don't get re-branded once sold
