Gas powered fridge the best?

My westy fridge seems to work miles better on gas rather than 12v or hook-up

Anyone else experienced this?

Could the hook-up to the fridge be knackered? How can you test it?

Mine works best on Hook Up and its not too bad on 12v after a 2 hour run! Gas is V poor though........where are you based, I know a good chap you could come and have a look for you

Mine works about the same on 240 & Gas, with 12v you do need a long non stop run.

I dont notice much difference between gas & 240
items stay cold when driving on 12v but not as cold as gas/240

Had a prop. with 12v ,found the relay at the back of the Zig was no good,so changed that, hope that will cure it.Gas works fine but 240v is a bit dodgy, seems OK before we we go to bed but in the morning the ice has melted.
