quality bumpers

notice brickwerks not stocking bumpers. whats best quality out there atm guys?

I assume, like with most panels, they are all from the same supplier.
I got a rear bumper kit from custom and commercial about 2 years ago (when they cost a lot less) and the quality was fine with just one minor problem, well minor for me anyway.
One bolt hole was about 10mm out and required the hole elongating. I think this is down to the idiots who measure the spacing but don't account for the bow in the bumper

Used VW ones ? Even if a bit dented they can battered straightish with a bit of care.
The aftermarket ones I've seen are obviously inferior.

thanks andy, need quote for insurance for that bump i had. looks like i`ll be quoteing on vw heritage prices.

I must have got a good one as it was virtually the same thickness as the original bump battered and holed VW one I took off. The elongation of the hole could not be seen once the plastic bolt caps went on

On a side note I've always been a tad perplexed as to why the plastic bumpers are so popular?
They are rather ugly and not exactly bump proof
