Hi.
As 14" AT tyres are impossible to get, I'm thinking of fitting 16" alloys.
Which brings me to Keyholes, does anyone know for definate if these can be fitted to to standard studs?
Any other 16" alloy options that don't need longer bolts & what do the Germans call those keyhole alloys & PCD & ET?

:ok

Those key holes do look nice but it is like (dare I say it, putting lipstick on a pig) if you use them right :run

If the keyholes are the correct 5x112 fitment and offset used on the Tristar they should be a direct fit.

They may, however be a Mercedes option and have a different offset (hence longer studs required).

 Don't worry Jed, they won't get scratched, its only a show-pony syncro! Although having said that it did go up & down some kerbs last time out, in some rather neat under-taking!

I'm not a 100% convinced by the look but want some 16" without ripping out new(ish) bearings & creating yet more work.

Any suggestions of what to search for on German Ebay?

if you go 15" then caravan alloys are a perfect fit and also have a decent load rating

Actually had to take one of my rims of today. I get 5 turns on the rear nuts. Torqued down to the specified torque they havn't moved a bit (7000km), but I would say longer studs wouldn't hurt.

I have the Merc ones, ET22. The ones VW used was ET20.

Called Schlüsselloch felgen in german. Made by Atiwe.

I might have a set for sale if interested...
