Accidentally Dented Sliding Door Skin - Will it Pop Out?

In my ever so wise wisdom, and trying to open my sliding door the other morning, it was yet again frozen shut.
Now seeing as I have already broken my exterior handle (2nd time), I managed to get the door to click open, but it was frozen around the rubber seal, inner latch/swing arm side, so I tried to click it shut and try later to open it.
It was only then I realised I push a little too hard, and now have a concave dent, not too bad, but was wondering if I remove the inner door panel, will I be able to pop it out?
Anyone else done the same?

Well, I removed the inner doorcard, and tried various ways of knocking it out, and got it to look a little better, but not perfect. This is going to haunt me now each and every time I see it

Oh boy, just been to the store to do some shopping, and seeing as its a sunny day, as I was walking out of the store, the dent was starring right back at me. Its doing me head in now.
Feel so frustrated with myself as prior to this, all of Flint's panels were straight, and not a dent in sight.

I have heard that warming a slightly dented panel can help it to 'snap' back into shape? Never had to try it myself though............

Thats an idea I guess. I will get some photos of it soon, but without the correct panel beaters tools, I fear I will only make it worse.

once its been stretched (you dinting it) then you usually get one go at pushing it out at the correct point , fail at this and you have stretched it again and not in a direction that will help so now you have to undo your effort plus the original if you see what I mean,
come on pickies you know you want to and we want to see them.... plus it may just help..

can't even see it! Mine has a dent in the same place though. Too many years of trying to shut a slider that jumps back open. Its a syncro! wait 'til you lean it on a tree or scrape it down a bank.
If your worried about looking at it, put a big sticker on it, some people think that will even cure rust

Do you have 'smart' dent repairers in Finland? In the UK they'd bang you for about 50 notes for that. Might save a few more tears if you try to repair it and end up stretching it even more
