Hi all

Am weighing up my engine options at the moment and have more or less settled on a subaru conversion. A 1999 2.5l legacy has come up on ebay locally but its a auto. Does the fact its a auto create any extra work/problems?

cheers

James

No, Thats what I put in mine and there is a theory that it'll be better cos its harder to rant it!
You'll need to source a flywheel prob about £50 and bolt . and a little bracket thing on the cam belt although I didn't bother. You'll also need to find a starter motor from a manual as they are different.

Cheers tinman

Thats great, not too much of a problem as theres a subaru breakers localish to me so sourcing the parts needed shouldnt be a major issue :ok .

looks to be a well looked after legacy so fingers crossed :D .
