if you mean for the brake lights, its a pressure switch in the master cylinder, under the dash, infront of the steering colomn(sp)

Ok,thanks for that mocki.
Not had chance to check it out yet,but does this mean the fluid has to be drained if it needs to be replaced???

not if you are quick enough just have a bowl underneath to catch any fluid

you will loose less than a thimble full, the shape is misleading, it wont all run out when you change them, just as much as the threads hold......

Cheers for the info and what i thought to be a bad earth on my footbrake switch was infact a defunct pressure switch!!!
Quite right about the fluid less than the thimble full and I didn`t realise it was so easy to take out the instrument panel...
