just need a bit of advice please ive been looking at rm212 fridges and noticed some have the exhaust on the left side looking from the rear and some on the right hand side , my exhaust must be on the right hand rear side as my vent is just behind the drivers door my question is if i get a fridge with the vent on the left hand rear can i put a pipe on to extend ot to my vent ? sorry if it seems a bit complicated cheers jeff

Not sure if I'm understanding you correctly here. Do you mean some have the exhaust on the passenger side and some on the driver side? If so I think you'll find it depends on whether the van in question is left hand or right hand drive. The fridge is usually fitted on the side opposite the sliding door behind the driver's seat so different sides for different handed driver sides.

no jeff it's not recommended you do that, unless you lag the pipe and other stuff

If possible I would get a fridge with the flue on the correct side for your van.
If not you must bear in mind the following:-
The "Lazy Tee" on the top of the chimney MUST be retained , it stops the flame from blowing out. But it can be turned to face a different direction.
The flue pipe MUST run uphill to the outlet.
The extended pipe must be metal , flexible alluminium or stainless pipe is ideal (Propex might be able to supply suitable size?)
The longer flue pipe can lead to condensation forming and running back down into the burner - rusty burner problems !
Autosleeper used to "lag" the extended pipe with some sort of fiberglass material , needs to be heat proof.

use my stick
the flue is on the right of the fridge
some are on the left.

jeff wants to use his flue outlet if the flue is not the same as the one he has, hence the pipe to the outlet if the fridge flue differs on the new one
