aaz turbo.

I'm fitting a aaz turbo to a jx manifold and I believe I need to swivel the turbo round a bit so the oil feed pipe entry/exit are vertical. Anyone know if I need special tools for this because after undoing the 4 bolts holding the clamps in place, the 2 halfs of the turbo are solid and I afraid of whacking then to hard in case I break something.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Will.

Once you have undone the bolts, we normally use a hide hammer or plastic hammer to shock the two halves which normally breaks the seal between them allowing the sections to be moved. Dont advise using a metal hammer as this could brake or damage the turbo castings. Does your AAZ turbo bolt up to the manifold and is a 4 bolt fixing? if not we sell an adapter that will suit what your be needing, http://www.vwbuses.co.uk/JXAAZ_Turbo_ad ... 98782.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you need any more info, then let us know.

Thanks Fatbus, I'll persevere with a soft hammer. I was just worried about cracking the casting or doing some other damage. My aaz turbo has 4 bolts so will bolt straight on.
Something else you might be able to help me with. Would I be wise to by a jx inlet manifold or can I buy pipes to connect aaz inlet to the turbo hanging off the jx exhaust.
Thanks again for your help.
Will.
