Hi All,

Just to let you guys know that were in the process of reproducing a 95% exact replica of the rare accessory child poptop bed guard.
Thought i'd post on a couple of forums to get an idea on numbers to reproduce.

They will need holes drilling into your bus but this would have been done at the VW dealership when purchased new.

as I said, these will be 95% exact to the original and will possibly think of reproducing for both 80>86 brown & 87>92 grey. Grey being the 1st choice.

Anyway, if your interested let me know. Costs still need to be finalised.

Yep would live to get a grey one as long as not too many holes needed and price is right.

Not sure on the Autosleepers dimensions to be honest as these were a Westfalia accessory.

I'm aiming for these to be avaliable for the end of May.

Thanks for all the interest on the bed guards.
Due to the amount of interest both the grey 87>92 & brown 80>86 sets are to be produced.
The metal frames will be powdercoated in gloss black with locating pins & safety levers coated in bright zinc.
All fixings & fitting instructions included with kit. ( easily a DIY job but dependant on ability of fitter)

Most Importantly all parts completely handmade and engineered in the UK (no chiland poor quality pap)

The bed guards will be availiable for £95 + £11 (mainland UK postage)

Still looking to have ready for within May.
