Hi guys, just to dbl check, are 14 inch steel rims for Bay window the same for Syncro? They look the same but not sure if they have different weight ratings. Thanks!

A link to what you might be looking at would be good...
But.. Gen Bay wheels are near identicle to std T25 wheels.. Syncro's came with std 5.5j 14 and a wider version.. 6j 14.. as well as the Alloy option of 6j 14.. ET (offset) is 39, 30 and 30 respectively...
The 6j steels were for the 205r14 tyre option.. the alloys came with 20570r14 on the 2wd..
IIRC Bay wheels have a round centre hole.. Std T25's dont.. The 6j syncro steels have a round hole (thats based on the several sets of wheels I have

)
My very late doka has pressures listed for 185's, 205/70's and 205's
Part number of the wheels might tell you more.. also if you have a heavy camper and offroad.. then the higher weight rating is going to be better... But can you get suitable tyres?? 185's are a bit small (great for the road all weather etc) but limit off road ability 205's in any pattern to give offroad ability is difficult here in Europe... Mud and snow/winter tyres are generally it.. one option I was looking into was Kuhmo/Marshall do a KL78 All terrain in a 215/75r14.. It would do the job I want.. but cant find them anywhere....

Thanks for the reply... The 5.5j bay rims got the flower hole in the middle too... Think only the 6j are round. I'll dbl check on the part no. I'm looking back at the 14 as some commercial trucks use the 14 size here and some have aggressive mud patterns.
Syncro is currently running a set of 15x7j Ronals. All A/T tires here are larger 235/15. Only H/T are available in 205/70. Weight rating is 96 instead of recommended min 97, shouldn't be a problem, right?

Well I have a couple of bay wjeels that are 5.5j and have a round hole in them.. manf date of 1973....
Load rating depends on heavy camper or light pickup/panel van that never carries anything.. on a heavy camper I'd like more load rating.. (thats just my opinion tho) its easy to get to 2.5 tons.. especially if driving off road.. in reality if you are carefull and look after tyres then its prob not a problem.. I run 96 rated Blackstar Guyane's.. (205/70r15 on Merc steel rims) they seem to cope with everything I throw at them.. the rims dont fair so well tho.. LOL.... I've bent a couple... 205/70R15's give mine just the right amount of gearing and ground clearance... but as they are very aggressive they are noisy on the road.. Should have said.. only use the 205/70's off road.. currently run 185r14's on the road..
235/15??? are you sure?? that sounds massive and prob doesnt fit in the arches?? 235/70r15?? still BIG.. I think 185's will be a shock both offroad and performance wise.. on the road its going to feel/be a lot more sprightly.. Off road ground clearance will be a lot less.. 205r14 will bring that back a good bit.. 215/75r15 is the generally accepted ideal fitment to a 14" Syncro..
If you can find a euro approved "all terrain/ better than winters" type tyre in 205r14 or 215/75r14.. there might be a market for some...

I guess I'll follow you with the 96 rated 205/70/15 (Goodyear Fontera). My bus is a 9seater so should be lighter than a camper, that is if I don't carry 8 FAT passengers . I'll than buy the set of 14' Bay rims and put some mud tires and switch when I go off road. Thanks TMT!
