What kind of conversion?

Hi everyone,

I've recently bought a camper and I'm not sure what type of conversion it is (ie. which company converted it, for example Westfalia). This may sound like a basic question but I can't see any mention of it in the documentation that came with the van.

How can I find out? Are they distinctive by the way they look? Any advice would be much appreciated :D

Thanks
Jess

As you can see, there's a bit of wear and tear which is why I'd like to find out what type it is so I can look for some parts...

Thanks in advance!
Jess

I'd have a bet on homemade, or maybe bilbo?

Thanks for the responses everyone - I've run a search on Bilbo and it does look quite similar.

Is there anything particular I should look out for? I had been going on the style of the cupboards but quite a few conversions seem to look like mine, so it's hard to tell!

Could well be homemade. If anyone knows the best place to buy parts, eg. the cupboard handles, I'd love to know...

Also if anyone's interested in an East London meetup let me know and I'll look for somewhere suitable where we could all park!

Cheers guys, really loving this forum and hope I'll be able to make some more contributions soon :D

Become a member by submitting the membership form (click on 'Membership' at top of page) and, after processing, your username will turn blue and you will have access to the 'Members Only' forums which includes Club Camping. There are occassional meets down your neck of the woods.

Make sure you get some security fitted to it. I lost two from N4 just up the road from you. I had clamps, alarms, steering locks etc. They go for export on curtain side trailers.
