Carat alloy wheel question

I am thinking of buying a set of Carat alloys to fit onto my van.
I know that they are 14" rim size, but, would the tyres from my stock steel wheels fit safely? It's just that the tyres on the van are of a good make, almost new [5 of them] and are proper commercial rated ones. If I could simply just swap the tyres over, then I could keep the stock steel spare wheel too, just in case I can't find five alloys.
And, am I right in thinking that I'd need the correct wheel bolts too please?
Any ideas welcome
Thanks,
Doug.

Don't know about the tyres but you do need the correct bolts and nuts (taper I think).

Standard 185R15 is fine on Carat alloys. Tapered nuts & bolts it is

Oh that's great Andy, thank you.
Now I can bung an advert in for a set, and seeing as the tyres will be ok, only need 4 rims instead of 5

Don't forget to keep a set of radiused bolts/nuts for the spare then

I'm sure that was just a slip....14 inch rims require 14 inch tyres.
Plus
Good call about the spare but remember it's radialized nuts
and bolts, 5 of each so I'd be looking for a 5th Carat wheel in the long term.

Well spotted Martin, yes a bit of a bad typo there from me
- DO NOT try and put 185R15s on Carat alloys
