Hub nut

Hi all, can any one please tell me the how much torque in lbs the rear hub nut requires.

Dunno but you need a piece of 2" pipe, 8 feet long with a 15 stone person swinging out of it ......
Its actually 500 Nm !!

and a second 15 stone bloke with big boots holding the socket on the ridiculously shallow nut itself with his foot!
My local garage are nice chaps and lent me their monster torque wrench (about 5 feet long) to do mine a while back. What syncropaddy says is just as effective though.
