Hi all, i have been on the search for the elusive AAZ engine for a while and earlier today i thought i had found one on fleabay. does anyone know how long the AAZ engine was produced? i have just got back from trying to collect the engine of which i was assured came out of an M reg golf putting it at '94 but when i arrived i found that the fuel pump had (i assume) immobiliser wiring going to it rendering it useless as they didnt have the loom or the keyfob out of the car.
What i am wondering is, do all AAZ pumps have that wiring? and if not, from what year did they come with immobilisers? as im pretty sure the guy knew more than he was letting on
Any help would be greatly appreciated as im now more confused than when i started

Alternative engine section?

put a picture up so we can see, and advise on the issue. It may be that you have the right pump but with extras, which can be removed to get the pump to work.
