Dolphin watching off Channonry Point - best to go on a rising tide, we take a picnic & sit there for hours with silly grins watching or go back to Avoch for a boat trip out
Fort George across the water but a bit of a drive around past Inverness
Dunrobin Castle up towards Dornoch & the Glenmorangie distillery are worth a drive too - 40 miles or so but a beautiful drive
My favourite area in the whole world..............................

It's a realy good site we sometimes nip over for the night.Inverness is 15 mins away you have loch ness,Drumnadrochit with the lochness visitor center and as already said Dunrobin castle is a must and it has its own falconary center.
