got mt tint this morning, 6m x 76cm for 9 pounds.. should be enough to do the two rear side windows and maybe the sliding door and opp , if i decide to. was going to make templates for the windows, cut the film slighlty oversize and go from there..
any tips that dont involve taking the window out

Have you done this before as it can be quite frustrating if it doesnt go how you want it too?
You need the cleanest glass possible, Hair all tied back - if the wife is helping!- Cut the film oversize to glass.
Take two bits of sellotape on both sides of the film to seperate the tint from the backing material, well just an edge.
Soak the glass with a water mister, should be a little fairy liquid in the water.
Seperate the tint film with your helper, one removes backing one holds tint, spraying with water so it is completely wet.
This is when fibres get stuck to the film as it goes static.
Offer up to the glass and work from the middle out, Flat glass is much easier that curved.
Dont try to force it as it will definatly crease.
Get it as good as possible using a craft knife to cut in the edges.
Leave for a day then go back to the areas that have not stuck as well on the edges and gently work them out, hairdryer can work well on this.
I wouldnt try to tuck under the rubber seal as the water will not get out.
That film sounds really cheap, be carefull of how thin it is.

yeah done a few cars in my years.. although the price was cheap they say they do not comprimise on quality.. time will tell.
thanks for the pointers.. i may take my sliding door windows out , if they come out easy enough.. that leaves the two rear and the back one.. i may only do the back 3 .. depends on how dark it gets.. just looking to keep it a bit cooler etc for when the kids are in it over the summer
