Washer bottle

I went to fill my washer bottle for the first time since I got the van, filled it but then noticed washer fluid was gushing onto the drive.

I think it filled for ages first, wasn't gushing from the start. I have read they are difficult to get out, any suggestion?

On a happier note, I replaced the old paper coned speakers for brand spanking new ones today - slow steps, I know but getting braver!!!

No help to you but mines the same and you can hear it sloshing when navigating roundabouts. Maybe this is normal. Anyone have the same?

I filled mine last year too to find a puddle under the van afterwards......that's just reminded me of another job to add to my list of things to check this winter, thanks

I'm pretty sure that there is an overflow device on it. If I fill mine right up, some comes out onto the drive. It's really easy to take the bottle off and give a good clean. Mine was mostly green. I also changed the pump as it wasn't too good. :ok

If it didn't overflow the passenger well would become a true well when overfilled!

I think I'll see how long it goes before filling again and that should tell me if it has a leak. I did read about the overflow. The pump for screen seems fine.

Thanks folks.
