Give me a wave! We take GCSE geography students there every year to do water management. It is really beautiful in a bleak beauty kind of way. Don't miss High Force if you go, England's highest waterfall. Lots of nice walking round there.

Hi .... yes Ive been to Cow Green reservoir, we went up one day for a walk in that area, across to highcup nick. Was a nice day but a little cold and windy, decided to stay overnight in the car park, woke in the middle of the night as I needed a wee, and went out side to see the most wonderful night sky I have ever seen in the UK. I tried to wake my wife to let her enjoy the sky, but she just shouted at me. Its about 3 miles away from the valley road.
Regards David.
