My 5 speed AAP Gearbox needs replacing. Always like 4 speed but want to keep the ratio's. Do all DK 4 speed bolt straight in or is there messing about with gear selection? Cheers K

i had a 4 speed but not dk. I replaced with a five speed, and I could still change into all five gears with the 4 speed box and gate....however, it is different underneath and i very quickly changed the four speed for the five speed gear stick and box and gate thingy underneath.

However i did have to run with it for a week or so until I got the bits through.

bolt straight up to engine ,

nothing else is a straight fit!
