It's very nice but watch out for the extras ... it's very expensive just to stay there and then you get the 'Oh that will be ..... ' on top. We were there 7 years ago this March for my 40th.

We had a really nice stay there, although a tad expensive a really well maintained site, also you can walk through the park and hail a steam train :) http://www.nnrailway.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hi Scott -

We've been there several times (in the Lodges before we got the van and twice since in the van).

It's a great site.... Showers are clean, loads of Hot Water, Bar is pretty good - but agree the food is a bit pricey.

A quick head up - the day we were leaving (have to be offsite by 10.00am?) was a really sunny day and our boys wanted to go swimming and for another bike ride - If you ask at reception and no one is booked to arrive on your pitch, you can pay (I think £5 or £10?) and stay for the rest of the day. It saves some of the early morning rush around packing.

Bike hire is available on site - you have to pay extra for the Swimming!

The Steam Train is good if you have youngsters - and I would happily recommend The Kings Head in Holt for good Pub Grub!

Hope you have a Good Time!

Sean

It's interesting isn't it? Some people love it where as we didn't care for the place too much. There area is lovely though. If you want to go swimming, but not spend all weekend in the pool (which you need to do on the site to make it worth the money), go to the local pool at Sheringham. Much better value and thery have a wave machine...i think...which the kids love. Steam train is worth a go too. If you have kids, also highly recommend Bewilderwood. It's about 40 mins drive.
