Plastic door edging

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience or tips on replacing the plastic cupboard door and table edging on Reimo/Westy type plywood furniture? I assume I have to warm the plastic in hot water to make it workable but is any adhesive needed or does it grip into the groove without it?

Any advice much appreciated.

Phil

Hi phil,
We replaced some on ours with some off ebay.
It is more of a rubber than a plastic, you can get some flat and some raised.
I just pushed ours on as the part that goes into the groove has ridges on to grip, I then just tapped it nice and tight with a rubber mallet.

Thanks Andy. I'll give it a go. Good to hear no glue is needed.
