Whee/Tyrel sizes. (again but different)

Thinking of putting bigger wheels (15") on the Tristar as 14" AT are impossible to find. And syncros look better with slightly bigger wheels anyway.
But what tyre size can I use/go to before all that lovely trim & arches start getting in the way?

I had the common bf
Mt's on mine and still
Had a bit of a buzz now and then on the front wheel trims. It did transform the look of the van though going from 14" alloys to 15" mefros, have some before and after pix somewhere if you'd like to see them.

What is the widest tyre you can get on a 6J rim? I'm currently running 195 75 15. I don't want to increase the rolling radius.

widest tyre recomended on 6" rim is 205 although many run wider without complaint

I know you probably are, but we are thinking about/taken into account the plastic arches fitted to 14" Tristars?

I would Mark, can you post them up here? This is my next job (expense) for the camper I have 5 off 16" MEFRO'S but wondering if I should get some 15" instead?

i have no specific experiance of the tristar arches but i run 255/65/16 with std 16" arches. offset has to be spot on and height cant be too low but i dont get any rubbing on the arches. tristars may not have the same clearance though ???????

Need PCD adaptors with those I believe.

IF ... the stud holes are 12mm and not 14mm and if you knew someone who was good with a milling machine I reckon the PCD could be moved in the required amount. Failing that you could re-drill the hubs
